“A Lonely Sneeze”

Project Description

“A Lonely Sneeze” (working title), is a traditionally cell animated film about the ghost of a cat who is trying to find his way back into the land of the living. Unable to move on because he can feel that there is still someone missing him, the ghost is given the option to find a new mortal body. The body however, only becomes available if they sneeze and there is no one around to say “bless you.” The ghost embarks on a journey to find someone just as lonely as he is and hopes to return to the person he loves. This story is inspired by my own cat, who I believe found his way back to us after his life was cut short.

Form

This will be my first official attempt at hand drawn Traditional Cell Animation. I have researched, experimented, and story boarded, and have only scratched the surface of this amazing media. I hope that my experience in Stop Motion will contribute to an understanding of motion in this project.
